• Full-grain leather is waterproof and is treated during tanning with a PVC-free saline solution that increases its resistance to degradation; in fact, it is perfect for use even in saltwater. The leather can be restored if necessary.

• The inserts made of robust 1000 denier nylon offer excellent abrasion resistance.

• The upper is stitched directly to the 5mm rubber midsole to stabilize the foot. A second midsole, positioned under the first, is made of water-resistant polyether polyurethane for added comfort and support.

• The adjustable lacing system features traditional eyelets on the instep and convenient hooks on the ankle, allowing for quick and easy adjustment of the boot closure, ankle support, and helping the heel stay in place.

• The holes on both sides of the upper allow for quick drainage of water; in fact, to speed up drying times, the upper design is free of foam padding or extra linings that are not necessary.

• The construction with the upper stitched directly to the sole creates a wider contact surface to provide greater stability, help protect the sides of the boot, and allow Danner to resole it.

• The 9.53 mm polyester felt soles are ideal for technical fords and slippery rocks.
