Patagonia Danner's Foot Tractor Vibram Aluminum Bar

Designed to provide superior protection and support in the most challenging fishing conditions, our Foot Tractors are the toughest, high-performance fishing boots available; made in the USA in collaboration with Danner, they feature full-grain leather and soles that combine Vibram® Idrogrip compound with our patented aluminum bars, for surefooted traction even on the slickest rocks.

Features

• Full-grain leather is waterproof and treated during tanning with a PVC-free saline solution that increases its resistance to degradation, even when the boots are used in saltwater; the leather can be restored if necessary. The inserts in robust 1000 denier nylon offer excellent abrasion resistance.

• The upper is stitched directly to the 5 mm rubber midsole to stabilize the footbed; a second midsole, positioned under the first, is made of water-resistant polyether polyurethane for added comfort and support.

• The adjustable lacing system features traditional eyelets on the instep and convenient hooks on the ankle, allowing for quick and easy adjustment of the boot closure, ankle support, and helping the heel stay in place.

• The holes on both sides of the upper allow for quick water drainage; to speed up drying times, the upper design is free of foam padding or extra linings that are not necessary.

• The construction with the upper stitched directly to the sole creates a wider contact surface to provide greater stability, help protect the sides of the boot, and allow Danner to resole it.

• The Vibram® Idrogrip outsole compound is specially designed to provide maximum grip on wet surfaces; the tread offers excellent all-round traction, perfect for long approach routes and mixed footing surfaces of streams such as rock, gravel and mud.

• The patented aluminum bars are rigid enough to cut through algae and mud, yet flexible enough to conform to rock surfaces.
