The idea and goal was to build high-quality bamboo fly fishing rods without compromise. I started with collecting, in order to study and admire the rods of great builders, and then I dedicated myself to creating the tapers and the various aspects related to their construction.

Over the years, I have managed to develop a series of models that cover the different needs of light fly fishing, trying to develop tools dedicated to the sport and advanced angler.

I believe the taper is the soul of the rod and therefore cannot be reduced to just a complex sequence of numbers or a label on the reel seat. As a music lover, I believe the taper of a rod is a bit like a musical score, where the notes that follow reflect a precise path in order to obtain, hopefully, a pleasant harmony. Therefore, for me, the design of a rod reflects this principle, based on a great sense of balance, proportion, and harmony, in order to achieve performance worthy of a great result. And it's obvious that, as in every musical composition the style of its composer is reflected, so too the rod maker influences their tapers based on their knowledge, their way of fishing, casting, in short, their experiences in the world of fishing. Each model presented here therefore reflects my understanding of fly fishing and casting (in a modern era) using bamboo rods.

Each of the models I have designed is the result of years of research and refinement along the rivers of half of Europe. Each model stands out for its unique and specific character in every length. In fact, I have never believed in the existence of a universal taper capable of adapting to all lengths and powers used in light fishing; each rod must possess its own specificity in relation to the use and environment for which it is intended.
