RIO ELITE WARMWATER PREDATOR lines are designed for casting large/heavy artificial lures in very warm freshwater. Whether you're targeting peacock bass and golden dorado in the Amazon, largemouth bass in Texas, or our own big predators in the summer months, it doesn't matter. Modeled after our renowned Elite Predator line, RIO's Elite Warmwater Predator line is specifically designed for easily casting those large flies with precision and accuracy in warmer conditions. Featuring a short, powerful front taper and plenty of weight in the front, these lines have no problem easily casting the largest, heaviest flies. The running lines are all floating, making them easier to mend and retrieve than typical intermediate running lines. Whether floating or sinking tip, each line is built on RIO's low-stretch DirectCore for maximum performance and features SlickCast, the smoothest and most durable coating on the market. There are 3 different density lines to cover every fishing situation: (F) A Full Floating line, for topwater action (F/H/I) A floating line with 10 feet of Hover Sinking line, then 10 feet of Intermediate Sinking line in the front, for fishing the upper 2-3 feet (F/S5/S7) A floating tip with 10 feet of Fast-Sinking tip, then 10 feet of Extra-Fast Sinking tip in the front, for sinking quickly and deep.
